This video was made as part of an artist residency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The same approach of Sin Título (a video made using a collection of cut-out headlines from newspapers she collected over a year), was used to compile a diary of a Malaysian experience.
Again, the headlines of English newspapers (already a filter in themselves as they’re thought mostly for foreigners or ex-pats) served both to indirectly register the everyday of the country as well as the impressions of the artist.
